Espresso Coffee
Espresso coffee roasts in whole bean or ground, freshly roasted in Melbourne.
Espresso coffee is a brewing method where hot water is forced through finely ground coffee under pressure, creating a rich, concentrated coffee with a full body and distinctive crema. Unlike filter coffee, espresso produces a more intense flavour and is commonly used as the foundation for drinks such as flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, and long blacks.
Espresso coffee is popular because it delivers bold flavour, excellent balance, and versatility. Whether you enjoy your coffee black or with milk, a well-roasted espresso blend can produce everything from rich chocolate and caramel notes through to vibrant fruit and floral characteristics, depending on the coffee beans used.
The best espresso coffee for you comes down to the flavour profile you enjoy most and how you like to drink your coffee. Whether you prefer bright fruit-forward coffees, smooth caramel sweetness, rich chocolate notes, or coffees that pair beautifully with milk, our range has something to suit every palate.

No. While espresso coffee is roasted specifically to perform well as espresso, it can also be enjoyed in stovetop brewers, Aeropress, French press, and other brewing methods. The result will simply be a richer, fuller-bodied cup.
Whole beans stay fresher for longer and are ideal if you have a grinder at home. If not, we can grind your coffee to suit your brewing method, so it's ready to brew straight away.
All of our espresso coffee beans are roasted in small batches at our Bayswater café and roastery before being packed and shipped. This helps ensure maximum freshness, flavour, and crema in every cup.
The best coffee comes down to personal preference. If you enjoy rich chocolate and caramel flavours, Moonshine or Seasonal Blend are great choices. If you prefer brighter fruit-forward coffees, High Rider or Bourbon Azuri may be more your style.
If you have a grinder at home, whole beans will generally provide the freshest coffee experience. If convenience is more important, our filter grind option is ground specifically for filter brewing and is ready to use straight away. Both options use the same freshly roasted specialty coffee.
